[CHICAGO] - Wilson top badminton athlete Jonas Rasmussen and his
doubles partner Lars Paaske won the 2008 European Badminton
Championships and earned the title in their native country of Denmark.
Rasmussen is Wilson's #1 Badminton ambassador and as a result of his
performance last weekend, has now a #8 ranking in the world.

This is the first European championship of Rasmussen's career, who won
using his new
[K] Tour racket featuring Wilson's exclusive [K] Factor
technology. Previous accomplishments include a bronze medal in the
World Championships 2006 and a gold medal in 2003, champion of the
Denmark Open 2004 and 2006. 'The new
Wilson [K] Tour badminton racket clearly helps me improve
my game," said Rasmussen. "The power and control it provides is
outstanding."
More recently, Rasmussen was a finalist in the Malaysia Open 2008 and a
Gold Medalist as part of the Danish Team at the European Mixed Team
Championships held in Herning, Denmark in April. Playing at the Wilson
Badminton Swiss Open this year, part of the Super Series tournaments,
one of the most prestigious tournaments in badminton, where Wilson is a
proud title sponsor and provides the official shuttlecock, Rasmussen
made another big step towards this year's highlight, the Olympic Games
in Beijing.
