Wilson Racquet Sports announced that they have signed a multi-year contract with Sho Sasaki. Sasaki was ranked top 30 in the world and has won 13 titles throughout his career. He started playing in 2009 with Wilson [K] Brave badminton racket.

In 2009, Wilson added the Power Kick technology to their 2 top of the line badminton rackets. Using the revolutionary Power [K]ick™, the shaft of the racket is extended throughout the entire handle. Usually, the shaft comes only 1/3 in length of the handle. This extension due to Power Kick™ lowers the kick point and results in increased overall flexibility and more torsional stability which increases control and power at the same time.
